Well i want the car to be reliable with about 400hp. I can get arias pistons and eagle rods for 900. I have arp studs. I am kind of looking to build it up internally strong and run stock horsepower until i can get the money for a turbo and fuel setup.

I tried do a few searches on them but its very hard to come up with a lot of information for these pistons. Maybe i should just buy a combo package with rods and pistons. They have arais pistons and eagle rods on ebay for 900. Is any have any information on how good those pistons are? I dont see...

I dont know much information on them all i know is they are use in mostly chevys and fords. If i can get a set cheap with rings i might try them out and see there durability.

He should keep it. If you understood what goes into these cars money and time wise you wouldnt want to lose it either. Expecially his car had lots of mods done to it. Maybe you should encourage him to keep it to because im sure that car is like a kid to him.
