Was shootin gthe shit about horsepower today and my 87t came up.. we were talking about dyno numbers.. Ive seen a few STOCK mkiiit's will put down anywhere from 175-190 RWHP.
One guy thought supra's were 4 cylinder, another said it couldn't make anymore then 200 HP at the crank let alone the...
I dont know how the N1 is but the brullen exhuast on this white car (when I had it running for 100KM's) It was fucking sweet!! I had never drove a supra with the 3 inch exhuast, it tottally changes everything. I absoloutly LOVE it.
Yep, its a BHG. I fucked up. Had a deadline to get the car out of where it was, and was running out of time. Meh, live and learn.
I have a engine waiting for me this winter. Might as well do it right for this awesome, awesome white car.
I found those two hoses and both are ok. I filled with some coolant and started with rad cap off. all I saw was bubbling and more bubbling, I put the rad cap on, bubbling continued into the res.... Guys... I have a feeling the next post on this thread will consist of 3 letters all in Caps. I...
if one of those lines were to be broken or whatever, that would cause coolant to be sucked into the cylinders? and my resivior to be bubbling like a whure? if so just curious how
actually, I only sanded using a few sheets. My brown car I sanded the fucking thing till it was a mirror finish and its been running great for the past 2 months (around 6000 Km's).
I will check those lines tonight. That could be sending coolant into my cylinders?
PS: does anyone have a pic...
This is what might be the problem as well.. The headgasket set I used was "evergreen". Arp Head bolts, 85 ft-lbs, sanded down the block as best as possible and cleaned up the head.
I've got two of them and my running one is stock.. I think Im gonna have some fun before winter hits and throw the exhuast and intercooler piping on my stock one and worry about this one next year...
could a loose headbolt or retorqe fix the problem? or would it be way to late now that its burning like a mother fucker. The amount of bubbles going to my resivior is crazy. its like blowing bubbles thru a straw in milk.
I just did the headgasket less then 100 KM's ago.. Last night a huge coolant blast came from somewhere and soaked the intake side of my engine and its blowing huge white clouds from exhuast, the coolant res is bubbling like hell and the engine is running a bit rough. Seeing as it was only done...
This is my new baby.. 3 hours after owning it the head was on the table and i got a set of Arp's.. I really love the interior. This car has quite a history, Owner before previous died at just under 30 yrs old. He loved the car so I will take good care of it.
3 inch brullen exhuast (downpipe...
This is my first supra bought last year. BHG within the first month. Arp's and a fresh headgasket done this summer. Head was acid bathed, leak checked, new valve seals, ground valves etc etc.
lol sorry didnt know u needed to jump the diag.
would me being off as much as i am be enough to lower my preformance? or will i even notice a difference when I set it to the correct spec?
Ive had my car running for about 3 weeks now after a headgasket job. Everyone who has been in the car since say that it was faster last year. My buddy thinks if we fiddle with the CPS and move it up or down a bit we should get it going good. The supra is STOCK besides a con filter and a opne...
