i have n issue with my drivetrain also. I get a clunking when i let off the accelerator and when i press. I belive its the shaft but I dont know for sure. I want to buy the one peice alluminum. HOPEFULLY, those clunks will go. if not.. I got a cool new driveshaft.

One more question? on the stock boost gauge where should it be maxing out if it were stock? should it be going up to "4" or is stock boost lower? I know its 6-7 psi but i dont know what the hell the measurment is on the stock gauge

How should the stock BOV sound? because I just drive this thing normally without beatin on her and I get the BOV sound let alone when im rippin it, its pretty loud.

I'd sell the rims, drive over this summer, and either JDM or rebuild over winter.. One of the major factors in this buy is body shape and interior, the engine no matter what is coming out over winter.
possibly found an MKIII turbo. never winter driven, no rust, 182 kms. 1987 turbo, 5 speed. the targa leaks a bit, he said he didnt drive it last year, oil changes every 5000 KM's with synthetic. I live 6 hours away from the guy he claims i could make the drive back with no problem at all. anyway...
