Hypothetical question, what if the tires were up sized to compensate. I just finished swapping a 7M into a Pickup with 5.29's on 35" Tires. Still buttoning up some wiring and exhaust issues. But will this setup hinder my from reaching full boost? Or will the big wheels load the engine enough?
Ok, How do I check those passages I had the machinist drill? Does anyone here have any experience with the Zooloo head mod? How deep should they be?
The only existing image of the ZooLoo head mod I can find in the internet is at this site

Thank you everyone for your prompt response!
Well I am pretty sure I put that freeze plug in but I will have to check. the engine has been sitting for about about two weeks so I think the oil is all floating on top of the coolant.
So if I pop my head off, I should just drill that front...
Yeah I had the rear timing cover machined (the part that the water pump attaches to)
I didnt check for rivets on the HG.
What would be the solution to the rivet issue?
Ok, I recently (and i mean the motor has not even been started or broken in due to a spark issue) built my 7MGTE motor and put it in a 1990 Pickup
Build Specs:
-Titan 1.2mm MHG
-ARP Studs
-ARP mains
-JE pistons
-PNP Head with ZooLoo mod
Stock turbo
I went to put a magnetic drain...
Ok I started this thread on *another forum* and wanted to see if SM's Finest had any input.
Ok, So I am currently building a 7MGTE that I would like to use in a 4x4 truck for off road fun.
So instead of going for big numbers High RPM I will be shooting for low end torque.
I know the 7M...
lol Yup! Thats wicked, not many americans know where TBay is!
We are both Twin Cities and i think T Bay and Minni are sister cities or something to that effect...
Have always loved MK3's just picked one up. Body is rusted but motor/drive train is still solid.
