i am going to need a realy long trottle cable i guess because it runs to the trottle body from the passanger side of the car? will a normal ge throttle body hook up in place of the one with traction control?

alright im hooking up a 7m-ge in place of an tired 7m-gte, everything is done except the trottle linkage and kickdown cable for the tranny, i think the trottle cable is quite a bit shorter on the turbo engine, what types of linkage or cables will i need to make this work? here a pic of the type...

the connection on the distributer and the coil pack are exactly the same? im going to give it a try first before i change the cps, valve covers(so the pack mounts up), ect. i just dont know if the cpu will register it as the same thing. hopefully it will work but if not it will solve someone...

i mean are the connections on the connects on the coil pack and distributer the same? or will i need to put the cps and coil pack on

quick question i plan on using the turbo wiring harness, do i need to use the coil pack to hook it up of will the distributor on the n/a hook up and work fine?

i am almost 100% positve i have a blown head gasket on my 7m-gte(i will no for sure this weekend when i remove my motor) anyway my engine has 100k miles, i planed on getting the head ported and polished before i put on the new head gasket, my question is would it be all right to just rebuild...
