i mean because i changed the ecu i lost all the codes.... because once the ecu get disconnected the codes will go away right?

i took the maft out and put the afm and stock ecu back in but i have 3 ecus at my house and i think the one i just had in the car was the bad one i tried to start it and the ecu started to make funny noises when i was cranking the motor......but i just got my wisdom teeth pulled and i dont have...

hey guys im having some big problems that i cant seem to figure out. after my car gets cold i go to try and start it, after a little while of cranking it starts and idles fine, after about 5 mins of just idling the rpm gauge will start jumping around all over and the car will start to miss and...

i found another thread where the person was having the same problems to the T and they changed the ecu and it solved everything.....im gonna try to barrow my friends ecu today and see what goes on

i changed the coilpacks twice lol....ill check the wiring...does anyone think it could be the ingnitor

ok i found this thread on SF and i pm'd the dude he said his car only does it when the engine warms up and the rpms jump around and the car stalls out..... exactly what my car does..... he said it was his crank sensor...does the 7M even have that? i no he had a JZ engine and he said its a common...

thats not what i mean im just saying i know the wires in my engine bay are not cut in any place or messed up unless they are messed up by the ecu.... and i forgot im getting code 14 ignition also.....thats what im leaning towards Thanks, Azem

how the hell would i go upon checking the wiring lol..... all the wires in the bay are good if it would be something by the ecu how would i check??

water temp sensor, CPS, TPS, IAC valve....i changed all but the TPS because according to my safc its working fine

thats what i just changed and it didnt do anything lol

thats the thing i changed all the problems the codes were giving me and they went away but after the car started to miss like crazy again i got all the codes back

its like your driving your supra dont let off or hit the breaks cuz youll loose it keep it were it is or go faster

yea its only $1200 for a pre 89 supra tho....i think? (i cant go on the website im in school and its blocked... labeled as forums :sarcasm:)
