The smoking I was getting got worse and ended up being the rear turbo, so I replaced both of them.. problem fixed :)

Yeah, what was really strange is that my alarm took a few weeks for it to start working.. but it works now. Valve stem seals and turbo will be the next step on the engine as soon as I am ahead of my bills.. For now, it doesn't smoke a lot and it runs very very nice so I'm not too worried.

I'll keep that in mind in case the traction bars don't help the problem.

no, if you are looking at the side of the wheel, you can move it side to side. you can move the wheel towards the front of the car and back. I'm buying some new traction arms next week at driftmotion. hopefully this helps.

I have a noticeable vibration at around 25 miles per hour. Jacked up the car today check for play anywhere and I noticed there is lateral movement in the rear wheels. Looking closer, the movement is coming from the traction bar bushings. Could this be my vibration problem? or is some...

I finally got it registered and on the road and after a weekend of driving it stopped smoking so I think I'm ok. Is there any way to get the factory alarm to work after a 1j swap?? I think the wires for the alarm were on the 7m engine harness..

There is no oil in the intercooler at all. Could this mean it might not be my turbos?

Got my BC Racing coilovers installed today. I haven't really had a chance to mess with the dampening yet but I did take it on the road at a medium setting and they felt very nice. No body roll, and very responsive steering. Also, even with my entire interior gutted, they are still very quiet...

That's good to know.. I guess I'll just leave it for now and get an aftermarket gauge.. I have other things to worry about anyways.. like being able to afford the tanabe exhaust system..
