When I got hit by a Ford F150 (rear ended me at a red light) It scuffed in the same spots, even the wing like Poodles noticed.
That sucks bro, I really hope you catch the prick. :icon_mad:
I feel the same way most of the time - it's nice to be different. These cars are unique...The only time it's NOT good to have a different car, is when you're getting pulled over by PO-PO all the time. Cops probably think I'm some punk kid or something just because I have an 80s sports car with...
damn, I would have paid $150 for it, even having to do those minor repairs!!! I just spent $150 the other night on a beagle...I'd rather have gotten an MR2. Those don't piss on your floor (although my 8 month old beagle hasn't done that yet after 3 days now...he's a good boy.)
Nice find...
Thanks for your feedback, guys - I've got a lot to think about.
jetjock - it's funny you mention that you still have your supra from 1987...that's kind of close to my story. My aunt was the original owner, only I bought it off her 7 years ago. She ordered it with a hardtop since she heard...
That's an idea. I have a two car garage, so I could always just garage the supra in one of the bays, and park the new daily driver outside. My wife won't let go of her bay (the side with the opener). She has a beat up 99 NA eclipse - I'd sell that thing before the supra. I have been getting...

Thanks for the replies, guys.
That would be greatly appreciated, billspreston01. I've been lubing mine like crazy, but the flapper door is jammed. I was able to pry it to the point where I think it's broken off inside, so now I have to try and get it out. I'm thinking that maybe the lock...
did you ever fix it?
my key hole is jammed on my driver side - and it's not frozen. I think someone tried to break into the car...or was just trying to jack up my door lock.
That's good to know. I have an 87 NA, and I'll be trying a solenoid from an 88 Turbo - I'm hoping and praying that it's the same part #...
I am pretty sure that it should be close enough. Usually 86-88 uses all the same.
