I would think having the guages set so low would be impractical. I like everything where i can see it and the road readily. My greddy ebc is mounted under the guage hood in front of the fac. boost guage. Maybe if they were tilted up a bit...
I checked ebay to no avail..:(
RHD market??? Can you elaborate on that please?
Discontinued everywhere or out of stock, but thank you for the ideas.
I dont know anything about forum member sales yet but I will look into it.
Hey all, just curious what concoctions people have devised to tackle rust on solid steel parts.
I have found that penetrating oil left to sit for a period of time depending on thickness followed by a salt and vinegar bath and a toaster baking works pretty awesome!
The neutralizer is a purified...
Hey everyone, I am having no luck finding a set of driver side door hinges for my 88 Supra MA70 targa.
Does anyone have set or know where specifically I can find a set? Mine are wasted...:nono:
I have successfully stopped the leaks in the top rear targa seal!!! If anyone has this issue let me know. Its a pretty easy fix and costs next to nothing.
The driver side top hinge and pin is shot. I saw a few, but am not big on used parts that are mechanical. But thank you for the info. This is a ground up project.
Make sure to check the badge on the back of the vehicle. I chased a leak back there, went thru the wing resealed everything and removed the power antenna. Come to find it was the stupid logo....:P
I just removed all the rust and had new steel welded in last week. I removed a good amount of undercoating around the 4 spots, (probably same area as yours) primed, and than used construction sealant to fill any gaps since the welds were only done from inside. I than re undercoated it. I just...
So the deal is i bought the car for 2500 from my boss. It was sitting around for a year and a half due to a bhg. When he got the car he tore it down and never finished it. Wanted to clear the lot so i took it :) The problem was that toyota rebuilt the engine a few thousand miles prior to his...

I purchased-
3M's 77 adhesive
3M sandpaper (80-100-120 grit)
A straightedge
6 strong...
Today i am gonna be attempting to restore all the targa seals and clean under them as i see the seals are dry and dirty where they meet the body, especially the very top rear seal on the body.
Using lithium grease to treat the seals after a thorough soaping and light cleaning.
I also had some...
thank you for the explanation.
has anyone done a cps update with the stock ECU?
I know that there are piggyback systems or swap-outs for most of the power controlling systems.
I made a fuel cut box and picked up a greddy profec EBC and bosch BOV, lotsa new/modified parts.
Thanks for all the info, this is my fist ground up project so I am just being methodical.
5 months and 7 grand in now. lovin it tho. the build quality on this car is superb!
cept' for the seal leaks. lol
sure, btb. with the C.P.S. removed-
1) use the harness point and a multi-meter set to the proper ohm reading, locate negative, G1, G2 and NE (4 pins).
2) connect neg. end of meter to neg. terminal and pos. end to G1, G2 than NE separately and check the resistance. it should be between 140-180...
