dont really know if the starter can stay on or not, i took mine out cause i was doing an auto to 5sp swap
i drained the tranny cause i wanted to replace the fluid anyway
and to get all the bolts for the tranny, i had the swivel type extensions that allowed the sockets to move a little
without taking the eng out i presume
disco the battery
put the front on jack stands
get everything disco'd from the shifter and interior so the tranny can drop
disco the driveshaft, drain your tranny fluid, support the rear of the tranny and take out the 4 bolts that hold the rear...
not a 100k car, but jen and i went through a Whataburger drive through on speedway in her car, and the guy said nice camaro!
and remember that show Viper that was on a while back, didnt last long but it was ok. a red viper in normal mode, but silver and futuristic looking in stealth mode
i believe she had, lex afm, 550s, intake, 3 in exhaust, 15psi ish, 57 trim turbo, afpr, i think that is it, if she would have been on stock suspension she probably would have done better, oh and my bad, she ran a 14.1, not a 14.2
jen was able to run a 14.1 at 103 there at sir i believe, never was able to run my supra there, but should have been similar, dont tell her but im the better driver...
my stock 2000 ford mustang gt 5sp, i was able to run a 14.9 at 93mph with a 2.2 60ft
thats a close one, i guess i would have to say the vette, esp the zr1 since its price tag is the same as a stock viper, technology has come a long way for the vette
clutches arent that bad to replace, if i was there id help ya, even would be able to do it on base at the hobby shops with lifts. but i wont be back in town til after the 13th of sep...so close...
