So opened the ecu some of the caps were leaking.
Replaced all 5 caps and still no start. Checked spark again, nothing.
Not getting power to the ECU if i check the wires that feed the ecu power.
Tomorrow going to check the Main Relay and wiring and grounding
87 with a JZA70 1JZ motor. Car sat for 2 years with previous owner, went to start it and fired right up no issues. Drove the car home and have been driving it daily ever since. Car is completely stock besides driftmotion intake and intercooler with 3 inch piping.
Things ive done to the engine...
This may be a stupid suggestion but have you changed the radiator cap, it is not very likely but if it is not releasing the pressure at the specified temperature and the pressure builds up too high the water (coolant) won't circulate, i know you never mentioned your car overheating but this is...
there is a spring attached to the pedal that keeps tension upwards so the pedal does not get stuck to the floor. So that spring is doing its job your clutch master is out.
In the article, the writer doesnt seem to bash anything other than the electrics (which is bull) and the headgasket. 7m's are great engines but like IJ said the number one problem with 7mg(t)e is the owner.
This thread and the people in it are ridiculous, well besides jetjock and ofna.

get a ratcheting wrench and get at it, also the wrenches with the socket on one side and open end on the other help. Its really not as hard as everyone makes it out to be, well maybe thats because i don't holler like a 5 year when it comes time to do it.
White smoke ususally means coolant/water, black blue or gray smoke usually means oil or fuel. If your car runs rich in boost it will puff black smoke. Take the car for a test drive and see when it smokes, hard acceleration, deceleration and see what color it is. You could have valve issues, you...
Depending on the manufacturer you should be able to purchase one piston. As far as forged or not if you intend to get some power out of the motor go forged now, that way your motor will be ready for power when you are. As far a forged your options are very good, je, wiseco, ross. if you want to...
i know its a lot of work but maybe try moving it farther down the intake, by the intercooler? It will whistle to everyone else but maybe you won't be able to hear it as much.
