    Oregon Speeding Ticket

Ended up getting a response from the Lane County Court, with a check for $96 bucks. Just sent in a letter with my driving record (flawless ;)) and got some money back. Hey, can't complain.

    Oregon Speeding Ticket

Ola Fellow Canadians, I got a speeding ticket driving through Oregon last week and it's rather hefty ... $427! (fine was for going over 85 but under 100mph on an interstate highway) Anyways, the trooper gave me this ticket then proceeded to tell me about my optional court appearance, and...

very impressive. I like the big jug of Bilstein oil ... not to be mistaken for McDonald's 'orange' drink concentrate ;) Where did you order all the parts from?

    Air Filters - Compared

I can tell you one thing about the HKS air filters ... they're awful. We took one off of Nashman's 92 when he got it and the AFM was full of grit that the filter didn't pick up. http://www.cybermueller.net/pictures/supra/clutch-install/2007-2-17%20Clutch%20Install%20005.jpg...

    suspension upgrade problems

Rent a spring compressor to take the tension off of the upper mount and then you should be able to use a set of pliers/vice grips to take the upper mount off. But generally you shouldn't use washers. With a spring compressor sinched down enough you should be able to finger tighten the upper bolt...

Has anyone tried running no power steering?

gross...why remove power steering? I've driven a couple supras without power steering (including my own) and it sucks.

    Backfire pre-startup?

well if your CPS has been clocked correctly as per the TSRM, then you can't be 180 degrees off.

    Backfire pre-startup?

this happened to MrBaboon when he assembled his motor back together. The CPS was 180 degrees off. We couldn't figure out why his car sounded so fracked up on startup ... Nashman had a good chuckle and told us the problem ;)

<3 the Dragger. Nash and MrBaboon make fun of me for not having an obnoxiously loud exhaust ... I love that it's quiet and still flows!

    opinion's please (engine swap)

Throw in a 3E motor ... make sure it's a carburetor model too. LOL Honestly, that motor has been the least reliable POS I've ever dealt with.

    The day has FINALLY come...

keep up the good work man, and the maintenance. I don't know if you already posted but I'd consider bring the car in for some tests to make sure you know where you sit -leak down test -coolant system pressure test -compression test That'll let you know if you have BHG,Leaking coolant hoses...

Getting Under The Supra...Oil Change, Lift Points

Ramps generally don't work because the car is too low (well Mine is anyways). Jack the car up from the frame - hard to miss underneath. Put a stand where you just jacked the car up. Move over to the other side and repeat. You should now have enough room to shimmy under the car. But, before you...

    Question about Chevron Techron

while we're on the topic of smoothing out idles by using some fuel additive... People really should get into the habit of spraying some intake medic on their throttle plates and going at it with a tooth brush. 5 minutes and a couple squirts of Intake Medic (or something similar) smoothed my...
