WAAA Im three parts away from having this thing run. Hoping to have the motor inside the car this weekend, with the AV tubes hooked up to the central life support systems. Still need an alternator wheel, fan, and throttle cable.

another note to take, eBay is the last place you should look for any engine parts, small stuff yeah, but important things. I still don't trust eBay with that. No i should rephrase that, i don't trust some PEOPLE on eBay.

I don't quite like the look of projectors on the stock headlight housing, if you go with the NSX or custom than yes but in the stock housing form i guess nothing really beats the Hella's

Ive heard the horror stories... but, this is the first time im seeing a bell housing in this condition..... ouch

I recently bought a 1jz from a shipper in ON, he forgot to send me a hydrofan and now he has to send me another alternator. I called him up recently and he said that UPS quoted him for 250 dollars...... which i think is BS but nothing i can do right now. Id love to drive down there and pick it...

Another little update, I called the importer and got him to send me another alternator, and the hydro fan as he promiced. Thankfully this guy has been nothing but good news. So this weekend i should have everything ready for the swap. Anticipation builds up as the time goes by.

ITS HERE ITS HERE.......and um :( its got a few nicks. Some moron banged up my alternator, the plug on the harness for the fusebox is smashed, the cam gear cover has cracks in it, so far Jon, who knows a thing or two about this damn thing said they cut some wires they didn't need to. other...

Yep the car was rust free. However now there is a small spot under the door hinge. I just really need to clean out the engine bay from all of the oil and grease.

After MUCH anticipation the motor is finally coming in on friday. 1jz-gte The car its going into, 1990 Toyota Supra (previously 7m-gte) 5spd Targa 3e5 Title says 93k odo 186k, sticker on the door says odo was changed at 14k(I'm still trying to figure it out). Paint could use work...
