    Pressure Plate Bolts

Can't find this anywhere... When switching over the R154 from my 7mgte to my 2jzge, should I re-use the bolts from the old pressure plate with the new pressure plate and flywheel? Some say buy new ones, but I can't find where to get them online and my clutch kit did not come with them. They...

The best spot to install a turbo oil drain on a 2JZ-GE pan...

Hmm, I don't have a tap set, but I guess I can get one. I don't have enough time now to get it welded. So I saw the forecast for this weekend... I don't care if I have to put up a damn tarp, THAT MOTOR IS GOING IN!

The best spot to install a turbo oil drain on a 2JZ-GE pan...

GAH!.... Now I have to take off the upper pan... :nono: Well, at least now I know where it is located :sarcasm: Thanks Fletch, I didn't look hard enough the first time :biglaugh:

The best spot to install a turbo oil drain on a 2JZ-GE pan...

**EDIT** When I first looked at the block (in a darkened garage), I could only find a pre-set spot on the intake side of the motor. Then after reading fletch's thread, I now see the spot where it needs to go on the exhaust side

The best spot to install a turbo oil drain on a 2JZ-GE pan...

Eh, I am being paranoid about this build, so I am not drilling ANYTHING anywhere near that block.

A couple HighHP MKIII's playing around...

Now what exhaust was that end video running? The 60-1? Open downpipe? That was a beautiful note from the turbo!

The best spot to install a turbo oil drain on a 2JZ-GE pan...

Ok, I have asked several people and have gotten several answers, so I figured I'd throw it to the wolves and see what survives. I need to install a turbo oil drain bung for my turbo oil line on the 2jzge I am putting in my mkiii. The turbo drain will go straight down to the pan, but once it is...

    We are opening the shop

Amen. I have some ideas on where we can go. Hopefully mine will be in that shot after this weekend or so. Hopefully we should have the site up and running soon, depending on what Force thinks of the way it looks and the content.

    Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.)

I might take that route if forcefed doesn't have what I need. I finally got around to this yesterday (the weather has been crap and I've been busy finishing up the college semester). :aigo: We installed the pillar pod, gauges, got the head off and dropped it at the shop, decided it might be...

    Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.)

Hmm, well I found the pulleys and things so now the list is down to: 1) TB without traction control, or if someone knows a size that will fit... 2) IC Pipes 3) FMIC 4) Wastegate 5) PS pump and 1jz line, but that's not as important Once I get the head back from the shop (i tipped it and...

    Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.)

I will possibly be buying a Haste radiator from 935 but at the moment I am not too thrilled at the prospect of waiting 2 months for one to come in if the wait for my TT, SS clutch line, and slotted rotors is any indication... Other than that I have the head installed with the studs and all that...

    Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.)

Ok, update time! I will have pics up as soon as I get them from the chick with the camera. Over the past weekend I: 1. Banged out the lower oil pan. The oil pump was in perfect condition so everything there is good. 2. I installed the arp rod bolts and reinstalled the upper oil pan section...

    21st b-day bash & build day

:biglaugh: That is true, but obviously I will NOT be putting the motor in drunk, that's for the celebrating after we bolt it in :sarcasm: Thanks for the thought though :icon_bigg I'm just excited enough to be so close. And I might even have it in before people start showing up :naughty:
