I have had out of round rims show up on the dyno and cause vibrations but it is usually through the whole pull and worse at higher speeds. I have a one piece driveshaft so no carrier bearing to worry about.
I have not taken it easy on the car since I did the 753 whp in 2008. It has been drag...
I actually thought the flywheel had broke bolts or came loose. It would just sit there and shake when the car was in neutral coming down with the dyno brake. We initially thought the tires or rims where I had it cranked down on the dyno but everything looked true. It is possible I bent a...
Finally hurt my 7m at over 700 whp.

These are the results of a tuning session on 9-9-12. Still stock bottom end with a stock heads. New additions were 272 BC cams, Titan gears, 2150 cc FIC injectors, ARP head studs, Magna Fuel 750 pump and...
Took the egr off my car 11 years ago. Ran the stock ecu up to 30 psi on various turbo's up to a 67mm turbo with an afc and a vpc for over 6 years on a stock internalled engine without ever having a single problem. There used to be concern that there was some thermal strain put on number six...
As far as I know the Map Ecu is a piggyback system so it should be hooked up the same as with just using the stock ecu. I ran an HKS VPC and an S-AFC for years like this.
You don't need any of the Nissan ports for water or vacuum. The stock ecu has to see both the tps signal and the idle validation circuit. There are fou wires for Toyota to accomplish this and basically five for the Nissan because you are using two connectors. This is why you split the E2 wire...
If you had dealt with the problems that Thomas has dealt with since this quote unquote professional engineered into this car when he assembled it you would understand alittle more. I looked at the flywheel plus helped deal with the car down at the track. The car had just come off the dyno the...
I have tuned a completely stock internalled 7m to 450 rwhp@16 psi that is a driver with a/c and the stock Toyota headgasket and headbolts on a VPC/S-AFC combo. This car is a 91 model with 102,000 miles on it and has made 510 rwhp@20.5 psi on 93 octane on several occasions. We do run 110 octane...
I had all the piggybacks including the ITC and made 640 rwhp with a 67mm turbo. The problem with piggybacks is when people are running down the road wide open and don't keep the accelerator pedal to the floor is the stock ecu will try to achieve a 14.7 a/f ratio. Not good when not at full...
I run a 44 mm Tial gate with my GT42 with a 1.01 a/r on the turbine side, I ran a 40 mm HKS gate on my 67 mm turbo with both a .68 and a .81 a/r turbine housing and a p trim wheel. I have run boost levels on both set ups as low as 13 psi to as high as 30 psi with no creep or control issues...
