i actually ordered this the other day...and a 2.5inch BOV pipe..im gonna lay them out and get them welded up as one peice and hopefully grind them smooth
The stock 3000 pipe has a roughly 1inch hose coming off the front left of it. If i replace this pipe with 2.5IC piping what do i do about that hose? just block off where it connects at the other end? anyone have a picture of theres?
Dont forget they sometimes straighten it as much as possible before they mill it...im sure not all shops do this..so the ones who do its worth something..
Are these worth anything? are they junk? i have a Bolt on stock boost car and i got 2.5IC pipes but no flange for a bov..i found a cheap kit that comes with a section of pipe with a flange and a bov for cheap...but its a no name? junk..or is it worth...
How bout the cometic with just the head being rebuilt and not the block...the car never over heated or anything so im really hoping the block is good..the head wasent bad at all
Not to be a Thread Robber...im in the same boat i just had my head complelty rebuilt and the head shop said it was almost perfect to begin with but theres 110k on it so i had them rebuild everything anyway...I havent ordered a gasket cuz i donno which one to get..I was thinking the titan...
yes i got my head which they said wasent warped at all really totally rebuilt while it was out of the car...however..what is the best way to prep the engine block and clean it up...someone told me the 3m buffing wheels for a air tool....but im afraid to make it have high and low spots with...
This thred started with just the shift knobs...so i guess what you guys are saying is that none of the B&M knobs will work either aside from the overdrive button...??
