Ok this is actually a two-parter. Part one: I just bought an 89 non-targa shell (no motor/trans) with a grrrreat interior and no dash cracks!!!!!! And I'm curious what parts are swappable into a 88 targa? I plan on pulling them and trying anyway, I just was wondering if it was a futile attempt...

well thanks for the advice. and i miss my running baby even though it never did run 100%. a nissan hardbody with a sliding rear window is no comparison to turbo whine with the targa off:naughty:

well plans have changed a bit. still have the same ultimate goal just will be delayed a bit longer. i miss driving her so ive decided to get the internals out of the way since im rebuilding anyway and put it all back together. then i can accumulate the externals as the funds come in and upgrade...

i am building my 1988 supra turbo for a more track based application and i was wondering if anyone knows what, if any, of the emissions system components can be left out/removed?

well motor is out..........what a learning experience. for all you other newbs out there (like me) it helps on motor removal if you actually pull the gear shift out of the tranny before you pull it.......LOL:icon_lol:. but its out got a great vid of the biggest redneck breaker bar...
