Well, as I said, it's completely stock, so the BOV shouldn't be recirculated..? I haven't touched a thing mechanically on the car (yet), so that shouldn't be the problem, I'm assuming. How would I change the dashpot on the throttle body, and what is that, exactly? What purpose does it serve...

I don't think so? I haven't done any modifications to the car, apart from regular upkeep and maintenance.

Well, he still has yet to fuel the car, but he said he'd bring it back with a full tank. Mayhaps I over-reacted; there seems to be no damage to the parking brake system and as you guys said, a cord is easy to replace. <3 Happy St. Paddies day.
