i believe tht it is possible with a fully blown turbo to burn coolant in the turbo. my old turbo did this and the car smelled like bhg burning coolant and oil. took the coolant lines off the turbo and no more sweet smell just oil. when i pulled the turbo yesterday there was oil everywhere. even...

went to the shop. started her up and found an oil leak. looked like it was somewhere around the turbo or maybe the feed from the block. so i pull the turbo and oil pours from the exhaust manifold. the turbo seals are defiantely junk. so i went and picked one up from kotu100. ( thanks again)...

not leaking anywhere else. after the oil change i had no smoke for all of about three minutes but i think i am burning all the shit that has buildup over the last few years. hopefully my buddy will let me borrow the dealers plates so i can take it for a little ride and see if the smoke calms...

mine waws cooked in an engine fire and as long as the opins stay together it should be all good. but fix any broken wires, doing the cps wiggle to get the car running is't a very good idea just going to break more wires. i find that 20 + year old wires and hard and brittle and should be replaceed

when i had the grounding run stock i tried three of them with crappy mixed results from not starting to misfiring. but after the grounding runs like a champ even thou smoking like a coal fired train,.

my guess it that they were fixed due to the improper torque from the factory and some poeple actually got their motors fixed by toyota. thats my guess

i went to do a compression test on my motor today. this white smoke is killing me. but anyway i found that cyl 123 spark plugs were covered in oil and the spark plug area was full of oil. so i cleaned all that up and cleaned the plugs off. took off the vavle covers and found a bunch of rtv caked...
