    I figured out the problem. I tested power at the iacv and found it was on switched ignition power, not main relay power like it should be. I still don't know where I went wrong with the wiring, so I ran new wires to main relay power from the fusebox. So nice to have idle control!

    Suddenly my 1JZ cuts fuel when given over half throttle. Dies and wideband reads full lean. Once it drops under 1700 rpms, it returns to normal.     Remove the drain plug, check for any metal. Remove the shifter and pour in 3.2 quarts of Redline MT90. Good luck.

    They are pretty beefy. You can trash the 1st gear thrust washer and break shift forks when abusing them like I was, though.
