Answer the question, does a set amount of air relate to a certain power rating?

Thanks for the input. I agree and don't know how anyone who understands engines could disagree. There is a maximum potential energy for a unit of air, but no engine runs at 100% efficiency, if you can have two differant values for power with the same volume of air than this theory is proven...

I'll wait a bit before responding so that this remains unbiased, but that's for responding. Keep em comming!

Answer the question, does a set amount of air relate to a certain power rating?

So a friend and me got into an arguement about this, I'm going to keep all bias out of it and just let you all answer it and explain your response. The question is; Does a set unit of air in an engine directly correspond to a power value. i.e, will 1 liter of air regardless of what engine...

tried searching but the search criteria was too short. 295 M/T's would be as wide as 315 radials. just curious if anyone is running something that wide on the back.

    2jz twins on 1jzgte

yeah i buddy of mine was the guy on SF that mounted ct20's on the 1j. he had to space the turbos 3/8" apart so that the manifold ports matched up, then had to modify two of the 6 mounting holes on the 1j manifolds so that they would line up. issue was that the much larger ceramic blades werent...

No heat in my 91 Turbo, please help me figure out why...

my guess is the vsv isnt working, easy fix, go over and use a zip tie to hold it up, both hoses will be hot regardless of flow due to simple convection. if that fixes your heat problem, replace vsv, but if it sat for 7 years, your heater core may be clogged

    1j stock twin removal

you can remove just the turbos from their housings, takes about 20-45 mins per turbo, you have to unbolt the 4 bolts on the trans cross-member so you can jack up the trans tail until it hits teh body, this tilts the motor forward enough that you can get the rear turbo out. All you have to do is...

    1jz harness, extend or reroute?

Ive done 5-6 swaps and have always just cut a 3" hole right by the throttle cable, run the harness over the a/c behind the climate control, and then the wires will reach to where the stock ecu goes, you just have to flip the ecu around and it plugs right in, you still have to extend the dash...
