    Anybody out there from Calgary?

Yeah, there are a number of us on here. Don't think that those guys are as active as on the Alberta Supra Club site, but I think you already have popped up on there. - 89 Blue HT - rocking a refreshed 7M

    Tire suggestions

My car will be coming back to me in a few weeks and it will need to have new rubber to be roadworthy. I haven't done any of my own research on this yet. I still have a bit of time to get things together. This is your chance to speak your mind, I'm looking for your opinions, recommendations...

Wattage of the stock block heater?

Yes, I do use 0w30. Love it. But also like to reduce the amount of wear on startup that is increased exponentially at cold temps. You know, isn't the idea with most things that we do all about figuring out what is overkill and then being paranoid that we still aren't doing enough?

Wattage of the stock block heater?

Thanks Jeff. I think that 400 watts will be up to the intended task. Though the stick on pan heater has me intrigued.

Wattage of the stock block heater?

I think that it is funny how Jeff is like Batman, you just have to summon him, by mentioning his name.....and there he is to solve things.

Wattage of the stock block heater?

Okay, block heaters may not be "stock" installed by Toyota, but they definitely are are a standard issue dealer option up here in Alberta for "all" vehicles. As a side note, I figure that anywhere that sells cars without a block heater installed, doesn't really have a "real" winter. I'd think...

Wattage of the stock block heater?

Anyone know the wattage of a stock block heater? I am wondering if this might be more effective at heating the oil in my pan by providing heat right to the pan itself. Though heating the block is a good idea as well, and eventually the heat does make its way down to the pan. The stick on pan...

    Limit of Daily Driver HP??

This came about because I was talking with a guy and we were trying to figure out how much you could build up our cars to be sleepers (to our significant others). So kinda like, letting them know that we are doing a bit of work on it, but basically pretty stock like on appearance (except...

    Limit of Daily Driver HP??

Obviously how you treat the gas pedal has a big impact of how much power can be handled on a daily basis. I'm wondering at what point do you start to bump up against the threshold of certain stock items, i.e. clutch, pistons, etc. And are there certain items such as 6 puck clutch, forged...

    Limit of Daily Driver HP??

Guys, I'm just gonna throw this one out there. I know that everyone has their own ideas and doesn't usually like thinking of limits on how much power is too much, but I was wondering, for a true daily driver what would be the limit for power for a 7M MKIII? Just wondering - lotsa people...

    where to get engine internals?

Assume that anything coming from a Japanese junk yard is shot, that way you won't be disappointed, and maybe pleasantly surprised if it isn't. They aren't sending us their best pieces out of the goodness of their hearts. May be a good idea to roll the dice on a used motor from somewhere close...

    boost cut

My bad, Yup U R right, I missed the point. Got lost using the new posts button. Did't notice the section I was in. Also, agree that my comments about AFM/injectors are probably overkill and more than required as far as increasing fuel cut point. Carry on.
