im running the os giken twin plate grand touring rated at 650 torque i believe.. granted im only at 450ish atm but that wont be for long :icon_wink pedal pressure is pretty stiff and takes some getting used to.. and some chattering in first gear stop and go.
sorry it took so long, its been a busy week at work. ::shrug:: did a little poking around with the multimeter and found out the heater circuit in my o2 sensor is fried.. any idea where i can find a bolt on o2 sensor for a jdm 2jz-gte? apparently there hard to come by..
AEM uego. im baffled at the fact that it drove fine this morning, i put the hks in and its lean as a muther fucker. take it back out and re connect everything and its still un-drivably lean...
i thought it was going to be much safer than this... i just pulled it out and it is still running extremely lean. i get to 3k rpm and its at 17afr..... im baffled now
just installed the hks fcd and i cannot get it out of lean condition. first trip down the road the afr didn't even read... pulled over and adjusted it as far as it could go and it was reading upwards of 15-17 afr. i,m about to rip it out. not driving it again until this is fixed..
howdy, I'm using the tru boost on my 2jz mkiii swap with stock computer and finally got it dialed into 13psi or so without boost cut, but after a few hard pulls i check my "high boost" and it has picked up over 19psi. ive been monitoring the gauge under hard pulls and havent seen it flicker over...
i was trying to make as few connections as possible so i was wondering if they made one that was a direct drop in and i think i found one that is close! i'll know for sure when i get my engine back in and il be shure to put some pictures up. but Mr. Bojangles, you reversed the flow correct? the...
what hose did you use the plastic adaptor on? my 7m connects to a rail behind the engine so i cant use that hose. and if i cant get a part number i may have to resort to the auto zone fools..
im nearing the end of my swap and one of the last things i have to figure out is the heater core hoses. the stock 7m hose fits the head but i need the one that connects from the coolant rail, wraps around the engine, and into the fire wall. my research has givin me no anwsers :nono:
not quite, every swap thread says to use a 1jz flywheel because of the 8 bolt pattern and a 7mgte clutch set up. But with the twin plate it comes with the flywheel and clutch. So i guess my question would be, can i purchase the 1jz clutch kit for my 2jzgte/r154? and i will write up a little...
i know this has been answered 1000 times before, 1jz fly wheel and 7mgte clutch set up. but can you just purchase a full 1jzgte clutch kit? im planning on going with a spec super twin and i don't believe you can buy just the fly wheel. ordering it today hopefully!
