High Compression in 1 cylinder others fine also smoke issue

well 400 for a turbo is like An eBay turbo which will literally like blow up haha
if it helps when I had that turbo I sent a pic of on mine it was smoking sooo bad about a court of oil every 3-4 days bad
and it has horrible shaft play
the cxracing turbos are never instock
driftmotion sells a 57trim ct26(extremely common upgrade which I have) it's about 700$ I think
it's a good turbo
stock turbo with upgraded compressor wheel
you can hit 375 with what you want with the 57 trim with a really good tune and pushing the turbo at 15-18 psi
if you still want bigger look at the bolt ons that sound performance sells..if you want a bolt on
going t4 takes a lot of you're on a time schedule

Word awesome well I been looking at the driftmotion I may just save up and fork over the money for it unless a decent preowned turbo pops up for sale

When I finish my HX35 swap, my 57 trim will be going up for sale along with the 3" ct26 downpipe.

Really how much for the combo when you sell it? I found a few ct26 57trim one is 340 other is 200 but needs rebuild kit

I'll probably sell them both for 500.

The 57 trim has less than 10k on it and never seen more than 17 PSI. Downpipe has the same mileage.

Dude how soon you think you going to sell it cause if its not too far ill just wait up on you and save up more money

Heh, it's all about the money. I've got the main pieces for the swap, I just need to get my manifold/turbine housing ceramic coated then get my HX rebuilt with a 62mm billet wheel. After that, a stronger clutch and full flow oil cooler.

I also happened to find someone in Richmond with a garett gt4082 for 350 Idk if that's going too big also if Imma need a new exhaust manifold external wg etc. But it sounds like a decent deal to me if basically direct bolt on I'm doing some research on it now

the 57 trim can get you close at about 375 with a good tune

What about that gt4082 should I just pass on it?
Sounds like a decent deal but then again Imma have to basically get more stuff for the car

so it's 2.5 inch inlet
hmmmm....not sure what turbo that would be unless it was a ct26 from some other company without any markings..

you'll need a new Intake, down pipe, exhaust manifold, new drain lines for coolant and oil depending on if it's water cooled or not
it's a lot...you'll end up spending way more than 400
