Well this weekend I finished up the powder coating thanks to Justin. I got the manifold back on and all hooked up. I just need to get a thermostat and put that in along with the clutch fan, fan blade and pulley. Also need to lift the motor put the oil pan on hook up the harness and slide it in the car. Ordered my piping and intercooler tonight so that should be in this week. After the motor is in ill take it over to a local shop so they can fab up a drive shaft and it will be ready to roll. Here are the pictures that i took.

If you look you’ll see the y-pipe on the jdm turbo’s takes a crazy bend, also my exhaust guy couldn’t find a flange to mount the exhaust too. I ended up getting a us y-pipe if I remember correctly. My first time I had the jdm turbo’s like yours. If you can afford it try and get rid of that bend. As you already know every time you turn around it’s another 300 here or there.

Have you thought about speed cut?

Ya I know what your saying about the costs o_O as for that flange im still figuring out what to do about that... Im going to see if my friend at his machine shop can make me one as it looks like a difficult design. Also George did you use a restrictor plate to keep the twins from over boosting or did they act ok? How did you overcome the speed cut and what is the speed cut set too? If your gonna be up here friday please stop by I will be free after 1230 so give me a call, and I'll keep my phone from dying so you can actually get a hold of me this time.

Anyways here are some pics of the wiring... this weekend i will be putting the motor in so that I can have my drive-shaft made. The harness should also be done next week so the car is on schedule for being done at the end of the month!!

I started a thread about speed cut with the aristo auto/ecu setup and no one had a solution. The guys where on the phone with HKS or Greddy think it was HKS for their speed limit defencer and couldn’t get it solved. I have a greddy sitting on my shelf. I tell you if I were to sell the extra’s sitting on my shelf.

Will see you this weekend. We most likely will be heading to Flagstaff area.

Well so far little progress has been made but have decided to wait till May to finish it cause Im just going to go manual and skip the auto. So Im saving up for the bell housing and flywheel until then, and already have a 5 speed swap sourced I just need to pull it out of the car. Also I will be relocating the battery to the back because the intercooler piping did not fit between the motor and the radiator. So I will be doing that in the mean time as well as fabricating the intercooler pipes and mounting of the intercooler.
