    Fuel lines

I am changing all the lines. I am using hard lines underneath the car. It gets really tight where the lines head in the engine bay. They lines are crammed between the tranny and the engine bay and they have a lot of bends in that area.

    Fuel lines

I have a 95 Audi 90 quattro. My fuel lines rusted out. I want to replace them with proper 30R9 Goodyear fuel injection hoses. I am somewhat worried about their heat resistance under the hood. Is heat going to be a problem? I will follow the old steel lines. The stock fuel lines have steel...

    LC4 top end lubrication.

I guess KTM's engineers were just as quiet at the end of the year :)

    LC4 top end lubrication.

Hey guys. My question is not supra related, however this forum has the best oil experts I have ever seen. I would really appreciate your help regarding LC4 KTMs. The LC4 KTMs camshaft and rockers use needle roller bearings. The rockers rollers are notorious for seizing and eating the camshaft...

    No IDLE

Right... problem found. The exhaust manifold melted a hole in the airbox. Now can I just replace the airbox with a pipe or do I need to find one?

    No IDLE

I had a bit of time last night to take a look. I just moved so things are a bit harder for me to troubleshoot since most of my tools are in a self storage 100KM away. Here is what I have: I only get a code 11. The ISC makes three distinctive clicks. Should I test it further? I have a spare...

    No IDLE

A bit over two months ago I had a friend of mine drop me off at the airport with my supra. I got back yesterday and found out my supra died while he was getting home from the aiport. He told me when he got off the highway the car just died. Everytime he crancked it started, then it would die...

    Heater blower not working

Alright now that I found how CB looks like I rested it and it works. Weird though but I also have a 15A heater fuse right by the CB fuse. I cant believe I made a post about a blown fuse :3d_frown:

    Heater blower not working

My heater blower stopped working on all speeds. If I jump the heater blower fuse(passenger kick pannel) directly from the battery it works. Is there another fuse somewhere? What should I check next, other than tearing everything out and tracing the wire to the battery.

    LSD not so limited

I just did a bunch of burnouts and it locks very well. The stripes start at the same point. When I intially tested this on the side of the road one wheel was on gravel. Considering it was quite could tonight it is possible both my wheels were actually spinning. Also when I said there was no...

    LSD not so limited

Allright so I did some tests. 1. Both wheels up. Car in neutral. I spin one wheel the other turns the same way. (So I do have LSD) 2. One wheel up. Car in neutral. The wheel spins without any bit of resistance (wtf) 3. One wheel up(on floor jack with wheels). Car in first gear. At 1000 RPM...

    LSD not so limited

Today while I parked on the side of the road and left in hurry I noticed my LSD is no longer LS. What can I do about this? Can they be rebuilt or do I need to replace it?

    Chain lube as rust inhibitor

POR-15 is great. It sticks very well to rusted metal that had been treated with phosphoric acid. I have never had to redo such an area. I did my wheel wells last year and they are better than ever. It does not peel off rust. The only time it peels is if I apply it around an area and I go over...

    Chain lube as rust inhibitor

Well... I can't say my handling was perfect, but when I say the supra handles well on snow I mean it is predictable and easily recoverable. Oakville had black ice all over. At first I was surprised how easily my rear end was sliding. When I got out of my car and fell on my ass I realized the car...

    Chain lube as rust inhibitor

Winter beaters are not fun and sometimes downright dangerous. The Supra IMHO handles very well in snow and ice. It wont spin under braking and knows how to keep a line. Also insurance in Ontario is ridiculous. Considering I have the Supra and a bike any other car would cost me at least an...

    Chain lube as rust inhibitor

I was just checking the underneath of my car for damaged insulation. I usually clean it, treat it with phosphoric acid, por-15 then spray rubberized rockerguard. I am starting to dislike rubberized rockerguard because it does not adhere that well. When it bubbles it creates perfect saltwater...

    Compression Test

Well I only got to do one piston. My friend who was supposed to crank had to leave :3d_frown: On a cold engine I got 150 after 4 revolutions. I will do the rest of them tomorrow but 150 on the first looks encouraging.

    Compression Test

I just did a compression test today. My book says the compression should build up quickly. What is quickly? How many strokes? Also how important is for the engine to be at operating temp? I rather not work on a hot engine...

    Wet driver floor

While I am here and I have everything torn out I have a couple of additional questions. 1. Why is the heater return line made out of metal. Can I replace it with regular heater hose? 2. Where is the beeper located?! I want to get rid of it, burn it and bury it's remains in an acid filled...
