still not welded as my weekend is over ... but heres where the "cage" is starting as previously mentioned .. supports made and now tacked into place and then bent the support struts .... not welded yet .. so just a rough mock up .

thanks ... I will have a peek ... biggest problem I have with this and believe you me , I have been looking ... most of the builds in the build area are like 50 pages long ... it would take thousands of hours to read all of the threads in the build area ... sorry , but I just don't have...

hay all ... as we know these engines are being used in MANY different vehicles .. I am building one myself . I'm building a 7mGte for my hot rod 2WD ... so I have been searching for hours and even days for pictures googles pictures are all blurry and cant see any detail not a good source...

hey .. thanks ... so , with the tranny out again , I needed to make a modification for the speedo cable . plasma cut out the section that was interfering , and used a piece of 2" tube to fit .. should work .

so a little time this weekend to get a little done ... I'm bracing the front shock towers and building the front "tube" section , so I needed to get my real engine in , which I still need to add some things to , so I can make sure all my clearances will work so out of it covered shrink...

so some pics ... trany in and drve shaft mock up some new wheels :) ... and doors off steering installed I'm now doing some tube work ... I'm starting with bracing the shock towers and a mount for the intercooler so will post that up when I get some progress done

so in the pile of parts to be trimmed , finally got the bumper/valance done today ! had to add a couple of clamps for mock up it's rough , but will give you an idea .

yeah its a 90's truck bumper and valance , molded at 1 piece . I need to mold it into the front end to build the 1piece front flip .. same one I had mounted on it years ago when I was driving it

got a new piece out today :) ready to start putting the flip front together .

so havent been able to do much on my own stuff lately , so It was nice today , when I found some time .. built a smoothie cowl and got it trimmed then I started on the flip front cut the fenders in 1/2 , so they would be easier to work with .. trimmed off the mount flanges ...

trimmed up some glass pieces today .. time to start on the flip front .

thank you .. I'm kind of "self taught" .. lots of reading , and now 31 years "aprenticing" (I'm learning everyday) I have the OE collision manual , as well as the OE repair manuals for both , the truck and the supra , so it gives you all the specs you need , I guess you just have to know...

thanks this is NOT the "final product" , but just "tacked" in place .. still have to build the whole front tube section + I want (or thinking of) to mount the intercooler on top .. I building a flip front end , and thinking of mounting the intercooler on the strut bar

finally got my tube contour guage , so I was able to find some time this afternoon to "fit" the front suspension . tacked , and jack stands kicked out .

got to work today making the rear cab mounts as with the fronts .. plug welded and yeah!!! , cab is no mounted to the frame .
