Are you running that tig on 110 power? If so what size breaker? I have been thinking about getting a small tig to toss in the basement, my 400 amp inverter tig is too big to take out of the shop.
Thanks,
-Sean
I know this post is a year old, but did you ever try a heat relief with an oxy torch after welding, just to heat the aluminum all up to relieve the stress from welding?
Interesting build, my old injectors fuel rail and AEM EMS are all up for sale on SF from the current owner, all of which would support your 1000hp goals.

I bought a .223/ 5.56 rifle for the sole purpose of how available the ammo was, now good luck up here in mn finding any! I also love shooting my .22lr and have never had a problem getting bricks of ammo until now, seriously wtf?
Welcome to the scared of your car club, back when I had just finished my 74mm 7M build I had very similar feelings towards it, daily driving of it seemed to tame the beast though.
I still think it was mainly a tightening issue, I won't be able to work on anything for several weeks, this weekend I am going to arkansas and next weekend I will be in the boundary waters, and I have been working during the weeks.
You don't really need much for clearance with the water cooled wastegate, which is the exact reason I had you get it. It will be end of summer before you get to drive the car much with all your small changing of things.
