How hard is it to actually get to the head to retorque it , i have acess to all the tools i'd need but im unsure about actually acessing all of the bolts. As every guide ive read suggest that the cams need to be rotated slightly? Which im unsure how to do properly as i don't wanna fuck up the...

So in the end it would be cheaper to get a 2jz-GTE from say an aristo and use its transmission? as opposed to the stock auto?. Or use the aristo 2j and hook it up to a built auto tranny?.

How many hours would it take for a mechanic to change the headgasket anyway?

I have no idea how to fix the wastegate sticking issues. If indeed that is your problem. My mechanic solved it, when it happened to me.

It defiantly could be the waste-gate. I had mine get stuck open apparently the spring was stuck or something. It was fixed by the guy jiggling something around. Mind you this was found on a dyno so it made it alot easier to find the boost leak.

Power slides galore? Im not the worlds best driver when it comes to driving fast. But i have heard lsd's do great thinks for standing starts and handling at speed.

I thought that mk3's came with a torsen lsd as part of the package? Um Also if im purchasing a new one ( new but not fitted to the other blokes project supra - due to him running out of cash for his project) is there anything i can do to test it before its fitted?

My 7M was a GE but it has been rebuilt as a GTE (by a previous owner) with GTE pistons rods and other such things , but it still has the NA head and cams. How bad would this actually be?
