So I've been looking into it some more.
So the GTS rear end can't handle the 7m's torque. so you would have to do a ford rear end swap which would be a $1500 swap. but the rear end would outlast the car and you wouldnt need to buy another one...ever.
So looks like mine's going into a 240...
I'm looking for info on it too. but have only seen them for sale. no build threads though.
You could join club4ag.com and see if they have anyone on there with the swap?
do you have the stock airbox on there?
Probably just need a new boost guage. Mine wasn't working either then I swapped guage clusters and it worked fine.
I've have been planning to do the same swap. I am going 2jz so I wanted something light to put the 7m in. Corolla=1500 lbs.... sounds good to me.
But It will mess up the handling.
Buts its my supra that will be going sideways and the corolla will just be something to screw around with...
Ok thanks. Yeah my stock knob is all torn up for the last owner. it just wobbles around. that thing doesnt have any threads.
Is that group buy for the TRD shift knob thread still open?... hmmm
I just recently bought a JDM C's Short Shifter and I cant find any knobs that fit.
I bought a Aftermarket knob and it fit perfectly on my Friends AE86 but it would fit on my shifter.
What thread pattern or at least what knobs will fit these shifters?
Thanks
Jumpered? the wire was sparking with out the spark plug on it.
It was reading a code 12 and wouldn't start. No RPM Signal if I remember correctly. So I reset the CPS and it started but runs rich. nad doesnt give a consistent spark.
Ok cool thats what I thought.
I ordered some NA wires so that I could move my coil packs from on top of the engine. But the connectors to the Distributer and the coil packs are different.
anyone know what kind of wires I can get to do this?
I know its been done alot.
