Well I got in there finally tonite. The seats we unbolted and took out of the top. then I had to wrestle the door panels out of the way. I finally was able to get a long screw driver on the bar attached to the lock and my friend turned the key and I pried on the bar at the same time and got both...
Thanks, I gotta figure out how to get into the doors tonite. MY friend is coming over and we are going to take the top off and try and get the seats out. This has to be the stupidest thing I have ever encountered working on cars.
I am in the same boat. I cant get my 7M to start after head rebuild and HG. My car is possesed. The doors locked on their own last night an will not open by any means you would use to open locked doors. I am starting to think I should have stuck with MR2's
The battery is disconnected and nothing will budge. This car has sealed itself forever I think. Idont understand how you can not manualy get into or out of this car!
Like I said I got inside the car. The doors will not unlock with the switches or the key from outside. How can you not unlock the doors with the key or manually switching the lever to the unlock position???

As I understand the manual the cam timing marks are to be pointing to the notches in the rear cover. That would make the drivers side came point strait up and the passenger side cam mark point more between 12 and 1 o'clock to line up with the notch. Thats the way I set mine up.

I am wondering it my fuel filter is clogged. The original gas tank was full of rust. When I first go the car I was cranking on the orginial motor trying to see if it would start. I wonder if some rust got in there and stopped it up.
