I am pretty sure my supra has a bhg. I checked with the local parts house and can't find a metal head gasket to replace it with. Does anyone know where I can find one, and how much do they normally cost?

I'm currently running an auto slush box in an 89 na car as well. I want to go 5 speed, but don't know which trans to go with? I figure someone's done it, so I'd ask for opinions before buyin a 5speed tranny. I'm hoping to eventually push 350 to 400 horse to the rear wheels on both cars. thanks...

right now my 88 n/a has a w58 trans. I was wondering if the r154 was a better trans, and what all is involved in the swap?

the only car I've seen that calls for 20-50 is my 77 BMW. Every other car I have owned Has called for a five or ten-w-30. I am however running 0w-30 in my 7m as the owner before me had done.

I own an 88 n/a supra, it's 7m is getting pretty wore out as it has 150,000 hard miles on it. I happen to have a 5.0 liter high output chevy motor with a t-5 trans sitting in a friends garage. Would it be disgraceful to mod the hell out of my supra to drop this engine and trans combo in?, or...

replaced the afm and coolant temp sensors. car runs great no more smoke. still have black cloud at high rpm, but seems to be going away as well. thanks guys for the help!

did you bleed the coolant system? Also did you make sure the jiggle pin was at the top? I checked both of those and also let my car idle to see if I was leaking any coolant.
