sorry for the noob question
I wanted to know if my 7mgte already has ARP headbolts fitted but without removing the headbolt can anybody tell if the attached picture is an ARP headbolt or a stock oem headbolt ?
I don't have a BHG as yet but want to plan some upgrades soon

what do you mean by 7mgteu is rare ?
mine is also a 7mgteu
i know there was lots of debates thats 7mgteu are turbo A engines but this aint true. mine is stamped 7mgteu but doesnt have maf sensor etc. normal airflow, and no other fancy turbo a stuff

sorry for the hijack, while we on this topic id just like to know if a too large oil cooler is bad for a car ? does it cause pressure drop ?
im looking to upgrade my stock ma70 7mgte oil cooler to maybe a 15 row cooler or is that a overkill ?

i was just abit worried cos i got a double diagphram pressure plate and solid hub clutch custom made up for my car and thought maybe the clearances are not correct seeing that the releaser bearing was sitting against...

i was reading on a another website fj cruiser (or something it was called) where the guys made a spring pullback on the fork so that the releaser bearing would not be in contact with the pressure plate at all times.
so it left me abit dumbfounded.

thanks hvyman, is the releaser bearing really designed to spin at high rpms like 7000rpm ?
it seems a little shakey even at 1000rpms.
my car was a auto and ive changed it to manual setup

quick question (i searched this but everybody says differently)
Is the releaser bearing suppose to touch the pressure plate when the car is on neutral ?
my releaser bearing is sitting right onto the pressure plate and spinning the same speed as the engine ?
is this right to...

i think poodles is correct, maybe the pressure plate is not moving enough
i will remove the spacers and try, guess it will have to be trial and error sadly
ok thanks bud, i will remove the spacers this weekend.
i've converted mine to use the releaser bearing style with clutch fork (like how the w58 gearboxes are) i also have a custom made solid plate clutch and double diagphram pressure plate installed so it abit different from how tsrm explains...

yes i do have the tsrm and i installed the flywheel side facing the flywheel, so thats why im saying that the clutch disc is the right side.
my question was on can the spacers be removed without having any implications
