Well I am rebuilding my 89 turbo supra, and I am touching up my engine harness. While going through the engine harness I found some problems. But who doesn't when they buy a car for a price you can't beat. The harness was cut in places and crimped back together :(. very cheap job. I did my best to try an soder all the wires i could. But some wires have their clips ripped off of them and I have no idea what is suppose to be on them. I have plenty of pictures so I hope you 7m guys can help a new 7m guy out with his rebuild :) not sure if this should be in this section or in the rebuild section....

the 2 wires in the second pic (yellow wire and red wire) go to the tranny. I dont remember what thou, abs or rev. lights. In every supra I removed the engine I cut those wires and use butt plugs to reconnect them because there are a PITA to get to on the tranny.

The gray round plug looks like a knock sensor plug.

I believe the wire in the 4th pic also go to the water neck area, (can not make out location and color)

The yellow wire with the plug and the blue plug with wire go to sensors on the water neck.
Look at this pic.

It is hard to see the wire colors in the other pics.
but also look here and in the TEWD.

the second last pic is a knoc sensor plug,
the pic with the 2 loose wires and the oil pressure sender, i'd say one of the loose ones is the temp sensor.

It's a little hard to tell with the new wrappings you have on it. I would agree with most of what has been posted here. You honestly would be better served with a different harness. Knock sensor and water temp problems are the biggest demons in our harness, aside from starter issues.
