wiper assembly

are the wiper assembly different from the 87-88 and the 89+ models?
cause i got a wiper assembly from a 87-88 and put it on my 92..and the wipers stay pretty high on my windshield..it use to stay close to the bottom of the windshield

You have to re set/adjust the arm that attaches to the motor.. It is a PITA, but pull it off again, turn on wiper motor, then turn it off so it is at the home position, and re attach the arm to the motor with the wipers all the way down. It might take a couple times but should work for you.

so take the wiper motor off? turn it on and then off so its at home base..then re-attached the arm with the 12mm nut correct?

^^Correct. IT has been a wile since I have done it, but yep. I am also assuming the wiper arms are already in the correct spot.

You might have to re set the arms also.
