Will the 2JZGTE 550's fit into the 7M Fuel rail?

I have a 2JZ laying around and wanted to put the 2JZ injectors into my 7M fuel rail along with the Lex AFM and Walbro 255LPH. My question is, will the injectors work with the 7MGTE fuel rail? My thinking is that they would. I couldn't see why they wouldn't, but I'd like to make sure before I go removing my fuel rail. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Curses. Is there another vehicle of any make/model that has 550cc top feed injectors that would work for the 7M? I work at a parts store and get everything at cost, so I would be saving a boat load on injectors vs RC engineering.

I'm currrently running Nippon Denso's out of an 87 RX7 Turbo. Make sure you get the low impedence ones. Pretty sure the later models use high impedence injectors which are incompatible with our engines.

I have been looking for some of these at a decent price for sometime....they seem to be pretty hard to come by.

Napa Auto Parts can get me six new nippon-denso injectors out of the closest Dist Center for 50 bucks each. Vehicle: 1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo. I love getting parts at cost. Thanks again for all of your helpful info.

not entirely true, they only require a little rewiring. I know of several people who have used them.

i used the high impedance 195500-2020 injectors for years. i had to rewire the resistor pack. they use stock 7m clips with some filing of the injector.
the tan 195500-1370 are low impedance, but you need new clips
they come from the fc turbo 2. but since that car uses 4 injectors, you will have to find 2 cars. the fd or last gen. uses 2 primaries and 2 secondary injectors iirc.

the n/a used smaller injectors on the fc. all fd's were twinturbo

you can't change the flow rates of injectors. they can only be cleaned and tested. you want injectors with flow rates within 2% or less of each other.
the problem with finding used ones is that the spray patterns could be different b/c of their age and you are replacing your 19+ year old injectors with 17+ year old injectors. i had 8 total and sent them off to be checked when i first got them 5 years ago. about a month ago, i sent them off again to be checked and found that 2 were leaking internally, 5 were within 3% of one another and 1 was flowing 14% higher than the others. needless to say, i had the guy throw them away for me and now i have to start over and buy some proper 550's.
