Cheers just got the otherside mounted removed the left hand blister and painted the underside so can properly attach that tomorrow then will do the same on the right hand side.

Trying to get the regulus sides to work is a little frustrating the bits that go up the body flare out about an inch at the top can pull them in but not sure how to keep it there also need to trim them around the door cause it hits.

So I pulled the stock rubber end cap off and flared that out that fills the gap nicely too and my bomex sides work so undecided with what side skirts to use the bomex looks like it may be the easiest but will have another play with the regulus ones with a fresh mind later they both look good anyway and I have bomex front and rear mmmmmmm decisions

Care to enlighten me gents? Sounds like you're talking about the fender liners to me. Mytmk3, do you have a build thread on here? I've been thinking of ideas for how to seal up the fenders on the inside lately...

Were talking about the rear quarter pannels/ guard I have a build thread in the members rides section

I cut the top line 1st then just above the lip removed that section
Cut the lip off bashed the living crap out the the inner liner

Sectioned it bashed it some more ground down all sides cleaned etched primed then bent tabs over and then rivited them to the body

Cleaned/ground surfaces back again re primed then wend over the whole lot with window sealant making sure there was no holes/gaps for water to get in and cause rust

Obviously welding is a far better option if you look at mobes thread he has done his "properly" I have limited funds and resources and wanted to get this done not be one of those people that talks big buys the parts and never fits them

My car I'm sure with be the least pretty off the group buy list but I will also be driving mine this week which will be the 1st I'd say

got A bit more done today pretty much just the left hand sideskirts and diffuser to go as far as "test" fitting is concerned will try to get atleast the skirts done tonite

I see what you mean now, that makes sense. I've certainly got my hands full this year from the looks of it.

By the way, the front and rear "tips" of the diffuser inserts, do they sit flush and follow the lines of the main part, or will you have to press them down when you fit them?

The front fenders are $500 + shipping. There is 2 month wait-list.

The rear fenders are $300 + shipping. No wait list.

If I was going to do this, I'd likely just do the rears.. Isn't the front already wide enough (from an aesthetic point of view) to blend with the aftermarket rears?

Indeed, good call on that recommendation Rodel. I wasn't sure how it was going to come out looking, but after seeing it... I rather like it a lot. :)

Yeah, strictly speaking, it would work that way too, BUT... wait until you see a set of these fenders in person. ;)

Oh, and if anyone was wondering, the CF ones weigh about 4.2 lbs, as measured on a trade-legal scale at work. IIRC, stock fenders are about 8-9 lbs each...

I'm extremely pleased at how well the sides/blister/rears flowed there obviously stretched out to suit IMO karmani would probly be the best suited to this kit for ease of fitment (never tryed just guessing)

I was apprehensive at the beginning about having a gap below the blister but pleased with the choice I've made now if I only got a slightly less aggressive offset wheel I may not get so many death stares from the police lol

Lol...it was Shine that believed the Regulus Kaze combo. I had my doubts. Lol. Now that has been put to rest. I was rooting for the Kaminari sides....which Shine is considering for a group buy possibility.



Dylan, i know what you are saying. Wide rear with oem front is what i also like. It is Porsche-esque.

The carbon fiber S2 fenders are indeed sweet looking. My set has been shot with automotive clear and looks even better than without clear.

18x12 +0 offset 295/35/18 I have a bit of poke on the rear +10 offset might have been easier to get my car legal as we have rules against stretching ect here in NZ
