Is there a company in the US that makes or can order wide body fenders for a MKIII? I have looked on a lot of suppliers web sites to no avail. I have heard S2 has some but since some members here have tried to contact them with much difficulty.

I am not looking for anything gawdy just something to match the slight flair that the front fenders have when viewed head on.

umm you can call S2 directly and order the parts yourself.

Just need a couple of things to clear customs in the US.

Particularly

Country of Origin
US Harmonized tarriff schedule for the parts being imported, and a telephone. Forget email. You need to pick the phone up and call them unless you know someone personally.

Language barrier, unfortunately. So is S2 the only company that has blister rear fenders?

no

plenty of other custom body part makers in Japan. Problem is searching for said makers in english will turn up empty handed. Need to know Kokuji and have the computer be able to type that also.

I guess thats why I have only seen Japanese Market Supras with flairs. Would there be a big market for them if someone made a set in the US? Even if they were just hand laid fiberglass?

For the MKIII Supra. Nope. To many cheap-o running around. MVP tired it. They came up empty handed. So best to go after the parts yourself if you really want them because group buy on something of this nature is NOT happening.

I may experiment with making a set on my own first before I drop the cash on stuff from Japan + import fees. I don't think any of the pre existing models would be exactly what I would be looking for anyway, the ones from S2 are a little bit too big IMO.

When viewed from the front, the MKIII has that little angle sloping off of the hood to the fenders like it is trying to be a flair. It looks great but it doesn't have the same line on the back, instead it has almost a 60s-70s Mopar look with the flat section nearly perpendicular to the ground. If a fender just came off of the flat section just slightly as it does on the fron fenders it would make the body lines flow much better.

Thankfully

Japan has a standing free trade agreement with the US. Meaning no Tarrifs, taxation, etc on parts that the country of Origin is from Japan. ;)

Oh, freakin sweet. Now to find someone who speaks Japanese so I can order fenders. Thats harder that it sounds in the Mississippi Delta, about like finding someone who speaks English.

Those look nice, but they are quite a bit wider than what I had in mind. They are growing on me though, I noticed the price was right at 600USD, Is that per fender or for a set? I didn't notice a distinction between left or right so I was wondering. How much was shipping if you don't mind me asking?

BTW, your project looks very nice. Its right on par with if not better than a MKIV for looks as far as I am concerned, and coming from me that is a huge compliment as I think a MKIV is in the company of the new 8C Alfa and 430 Ferrari as the most asthetically pleasing cars on earth.

Its for both, just have to come up with another 500 give or take for shipping. Per pair. And looking at the install pics its a little more labor intensive than I was expecting. Still would be worth it but out of my skill range at the moment.

For some reason I'm having difficulty fully pulling up their web site. The main pic won't load, and when I click on an item that's highlighted in blue it pops up a window that states what said object is for. No pictures at all.
