(Just looking for clarification) i have an innovative wide band that can run both w/n at the same time... my question is.. Is it ok to mount the wide band set up in the stock location? Some say nay but why is it ok to run a narrow band there and not a wide band. The wide band does run at a higher operating temp than the narrow, so in turn would it not be better for it? So if anyone can explain why the the wide band would not work in the stock location, please i am looking for answers.

Thanks

thats what others have said/ but it doesn't make sense. Wouldn't it last just as long as a narrow band there? if thats the case then a long time.

personally I would run it a bit down the DP and just "unplug" the stock o2 sensor and just have it sitting there not reading. Do keep the other sensor at the middle of the exhaust though

the problem is not the nerst cell... that is rated to 900c.

The issue is the hex temprature... Rated at 550c. Need a heatsink to help the O2 sensor in dissipating the heat.

thisi specific to the LSU 4.2
