Eh, like, the games rule, but the movies not so much. Silent Hill deserves a sequel more then RE! Of course, I'll be one of the first ones in the theater so who am I kidding?
I've never played the games but watched the movies, how far is it supposed to take place in the future?

Maybe if they cleaned up the movie a bit. That movie was way too slow and not as interesting as it should have been. Best part of the movie was the pyramid head scene outside the church. :biglaugh:SupraOfDoom said:

I saw the commercials and thought is was gonna be great but I ended up feeling let down. I mean it was kinda like the game how it didn't exactly answer all your questions and I did like how they at least attempted to stay true to the feel of the source but I was disappointed.
It was too long IMO he pacing wasn't enough to keep it from being boring. It was no bloodrayne lol but to me it just wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

Different tastes, I guess.
Silent hill was good enough for me to see twice in the theater and a couple times on On Demand at home. Then again, I like the scary/horror films that don't end have a happy ending and the protagonist doesn't always get their way. But then you can go deeper and argue who do you think the protagonist is though... I liked that it was more like a puzzle and a mystery than just a hack and slash countdown til the next murder type. I also like the Ju-on films and the US Grudge films(which aren't just remakes in english).Which answers weren't answered though? I thought they wrapped up everything either explicitly or implicitly.

I did not like bloodrayne just in case you thought that's what I meant.
I don't mind the not happy ending at all. I think all those we have to end it happy movies get old.
I'd have to watch it again to point out specifics. There were just a few holes imo.
