My 02 Overland. Bought it in May this year. I traded in my 03 Rubicon for it. I miss my old Ruby like crazy but I love this thing.

I wish they would've put the HO version of the 4.7 in my durango. For some reason only the jeeps got HO and the dodges got the regular 4.7s.

I hear ya. A friend of mine bought a Durango at the same time I bought my Jeep. Being that the Durango has a much higher tow capacity, they should have come with the option for the H.O.

Just recently looked at an 02 or 04 jeep grand cherokee limited with about 100k on the clock and I have to say I was very disappointed with the quality of the ride. It moved around like a boat and felt very unstable. The engine is killer strong though. Hope yours does not share this characteristic.

It does feel like a boat at times. But not unstable at all. I thought it might be a bit on the unstable side when I test drove it but after 30,000km it is anything but. It's is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned and highway driving is a complete pleasure.

The body roll issue can be fixed by replacing the rear anti sway bar. Installing a 1" anti sway bar in place of the factory stiffins it right up. I will be doing this after Christmas.

Keep in mind that these vehicles are solid front and rear axle. It will not drive like a car. That said, if you do any off roading at all, and you want to do it comfortably, this is the way to go.

If you have the AWD or full time 4wd versions, be sure to run the same size tires front and back. Repaired a few transfer cases from having bigger tires in the back than the front. Iirc, the recommended difference in tires is only 1/16".
