whining noise?

ok, so I think I asked this before, but my rear of the car makes a whining noise from 3000rpm and up, anyone know what it is? I thought differential bearing? driveshaft?

Does it do it in gear?

How about in neutral just coasting

Trailing throttle/engine braking

my car is a automatic, it only does it when I'm on the gas, when I let off, it goes away, the more I'm on the gas the louder it gets.

Checked the fluid?

Check the Pwr Steer fluid as well it'll whine if it's low/cavitates.

I just had the rearend fluid changed last week, my mechanic said the fluid was real clean.
