Where does this wire plug into?

The wire laying on the fan shroud. This, on my 87T, goes behind the water pump. The wire in question is unplugged on the 92T we're trying to fix up, and cannot get underneath at the moment (not enough jack stands, and it's sitting on gravel with dead rear tires).

Does anyone know where this connects? We can't get under the car to take a look just yet. TSRM hasn't been a lot of help so far.

Thanks.

I don't think that's for the oxygen sensor. It appears to be some kind of extended wire, and I don't know why. Maybe it goes to the white plug on the thermo housing. The only things that are on that part of the harness that comes across the motor are:

CPS
Oxygen sensor
AFM
Oil Pressure
and the thermostat housing plugs

possible CPS but CPS is female on the harness side and that looks male
Oxy sensor is three wire, circular like for the fuel pump relay
AFM - no way
Oil pressure is one single wire same shape/style as water temp sender unless they changed this on 89+ models

on another note...this plug doesn't look at all familiar and i've just completely redone my engine....

Washer fluid is on the body harness, not the motor harness.

In this picture, I have a few things circled.

In white, is my guess. Looks extended just like the wire in blue.

The wire in blue appears to circle around and go to the plug that almost the same color of blue. Don't know why it would be that long.

Green appears to be the male and female of the CPS

What the hell is that in orange?

The AFM is flat and black

The O2 Sensor is a round plug, and not seen. It may be plugged in already
I don't see the oil pressure sender wire. I know there are two different types of senders. Your plug could go there. I can't see what the plug looks like.

i believe that 2wire plug goes to your ecu temp sensor the sensor with the green plugin. as for the white with black stripe wire with the tape on it there should be a temp sensor below the green plugin ecu temp sensor.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully it won't be pouring out after work tomorrow so it can be looked at in more detail with this information.

The wire/plug in question is one white wire with a black stripe, and a solid yellow wire. The extended, single wire that comes out of the loom is yellow, with a black stripe.

Gonna look through the TSRM a bit more now that we know that....
