Where does this go??

this is on my wiring harness from my 1987 7mge, and i cannot figure out where it goes, it hangs on the intake (driver) side just below the intake manifold. Any help is greatly appreciated

it looks like a knock sensor that screws into the block.

Yup its a knock sensor.

Take the connector off carefully and screw it in. Do not screw in with the plug. Knock sensors and wring can be a pain to replace.

Edit it goes under the take into one of the holes on the block. Turbo has 2 1 front and 1 rear and n/a has one i believe goes in the middle or front.

where on the block does it go? I have a non turbo

You can see the 2. 1 next to the cluster of freeze plugs and one next to the fuel pipe.
