  • Good, Im glad you figured it out. The belt really shouldn't skip teeth unless the tensioner was loose or the belt was really worn out. Take the belt off and turn the camshafts by hand (or with a socket wrench) to make sure they turn normally. Also check the oil pump driveshaft to make sure it spins freely. And last make sure the tensioner pulley bearing is ok. Make sure that when you install the belt, that you wrap it from the crankshaft, to the intake cam, and then to the exhaust cam really tightly so that all the slack goes on the tensioner side of the belt. Also, There shouldnt be any oil or grease on the belt
