Where does the M1 ground get grounded?

My dash is doing some wired things. Voltage gauge only showing 12v for instance.(alt is putting out 14.7volts) I checked the resistance between the M1 ground and the chassis and I am getting 10 ohms. I want to see if the wire is bad or the connection. I think there is a diagram of all the grounds somewhere? I couldn't find it.

Where can I check that M1 ground connection?

10 ohms thats it! Dude you might be barking up the wrong tree. Try sanding to bare metal for the ground.

10 ohms seems like a lot for a wire going to the chassis ground.

Does that wire go straight to the battery or does it get grounded somewhere else?

It is alot.

I don't' know, but I bet you'd be able to find out in the TSRM, IIRC there is a few pages that deal strictly with ground point locations.

I think the ground is on the bottom of the intake mani next to one of the runners in the back.

is that the one where a couple of grounds are bolted too? I think thats the same one your talking about.
