Where can I get this air filter?

For some reason I can't seem to locate this type of fiter. It's got a 3" neck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:1zhelp:

That part is discontinued though you can make something similar with parts from Home Depot.

so should I use a standard aftermarket cone filter then? I'm worried about clearance.

Yeah search for it and you will see it doens't do well.. If you actually want one I think I saw one in my friends garage the other day.. I'll see what he will let it go for if you want.

Apex'i filters were shown to have the best filtration and flow-through capability. HKS had good flowing numbers but they let a lot of dust through also.

the foam filter tends to fall apart and get sucked into the engine...not good.

I used to drive on dirt/gravel backroads a lot, and it soon became a waste of money to change out the air filter ever couple weeks.

The best filter is open to discussion. Best as in what? Filtration? Flow? Both?

abe, you dont have to find the whole housing. see if yo can just find the foam element. the filter comes out of the housing. only the foam needs to be replaced. hks filters flow the best. but dont filter the best
