when to switch to snythetic oil (new motor)

my new engine is about to hit 850 miles. it's on it's 3rd oil change with castrol 10-40 motor oil. i think i'm going to run castrol one more time till about the 1500 mile mark, then swich to redline.

does this sound good?

That's probably what I'm gonna end up doing, too. Sounds like you've done a good job of breaking it in! Have fun with it!

lane, everything is going well. the new supra is awesome and looking great. she has really come a long way. my sound-performance turbo will be here next week. i'm going to install that, then take a break for awhile.
