I've searched SM, SF, Google, and i've asked a few of my mechanically saavy friends, but i can't seem to find a decent write-up on removing and replacing wheel studs. The previous owner of my car had wheel locks, and i'm guessing he lost the key, because i have one broken stud on each hub. I was doing lower ball joints and stabilizer bars up front the other day and decided to see if i could pull one of the broken studs. I've already ordered five new studs (in case i shear one), and i found washers that fit well enough to pull them through. I took off my caliper and slid the rotor off, and i can't figure out what to do next. I read a few posts about cutting a hole in the dust shield and popping the new studs out/in that way, but what about the back wheels? I have a 91'turbo with ABS, btw. I want to get this done, but i would like to get them replaced without pulling the knuckle or taking my car to a shop. Anybody with previous experience that can give me some pointers?
