Mine always lights up when I'm going around a curve or driving fast. I don't know why, but it does. I now have mine disconnected because of my new coilovers.

the third one only comes on sometimes because that is how it works. It is suppose to stiffen up under hard turning but I think it is actually controled by the tps signal. You can do the sogi tems mod if you want it on all the time.

It actually has several inputs. TPS, Steering wheel sensor, brake sensor, and Speedometer. The TEMS Shock will go to full firm(the third light will illuminate) if you do one of several things. Hit the brakes, Corner while the car is moving. Accelerate hard, or go above 37 MPH in sport mode.

37 mph? Huh, never seen one do that.

TEMS has 3 settings:

1) Soft

2) Medium

3) Firm

It has 2 Modes:

1) Normal

2) Sport

It has 4 functions:

1) Anti-Squat:

Upon abrupt application of the gas pedal the system goes firm. Input signal is the TPS. This is the only function where the TCCS communicates with the TEMS computer. It's also the only function that operates with the engine off. You can use it to test your TPS to some extent.

2) Anti-dive:

Upon application of the brakes the system goes firm. Input signal is the stop light circuit.

3) Anti-roll:

Upon abrupt application of the steering wheel the system goes firm. Input signal is by an optical sensor mounted in the steering shaft.

4) High Speed:

Around 80 mph when in Sport Mode the system will go firm. Input signal is the vehicle speed sensor in the speedometer.

The system has built in diagnostics by using a jumper in the diag block. See the TSRM for details.

Sorry, you're right. I got it backwards. It will go firm if you apply the brakes above 37mph. I remembered hearing 37mph somewhere, and initially though it was for the high speed mode. I haven't had my TEMS connected if a few years so my memory is a little rusty.

the second light thats always on shows that it's activated the third one shows that the cars stiffing up like around a turn at a good speed. It's just shows that it's doing what it's spose to.now i don't know why it's only works when it's hot unless you get it hot when your driving it hard:yelrotflm
